We are in Reno for a weekend tournament at Reno HS. Very nice facility. Started to get hungry and out came the trusty Yelp app. Searched BBQ and came up with Brothers and it about 2 miles away. Since we got there about 3:30 they were out if brisket. Had 3 ribs and bbq beans. My son had a hit link sandwich. Ribs had a nice smoke ring and a good bite to them. The house sauce is really good BBQ beans were not overly sweet. Corn bread was okay. Hit link was spicy and firm without a lot of fat running off. He said it is probably the best link he's had, ever. Wish I lived in Reno just for this place. Good food, service is quick and friendly. Cool little house conversion with outside seating as well.

I'm not just saying this is the best BBQ in Reno because I live two blocks away.. I'm saying it because it's consistently good, if you order it for catering it's executed as well as if you're sitting down, and the sauce and ribs at the Nugget to fest tasted like I was sitting at their patio. I make BBQ, I've eaten at Franklin in Austin, I can talk about the differences between South/ North Carolina bbq, St. Louis BBQ, Nashville or Memphis BBQ (unpopular opinion Memphis is better).. Anyway, Sparks has BBQ that comes close to it, but Brothers is the best in Reno

A quenching Yelp check-in! A most dependable and delicious BBQ joint that always gives soft and generous protein portions. They also have beer, cookies and good selection of sodas and teas. Friendly cashier will take your order and they will take your name and deliver your delights to your table. I like that they have additional regular and habanero BBQ sauces on the table. Addictive and saucy! Parking on the side and plenty of street parking. In and outdoor seating.

My husband and I had an amazing date and delicious meal here. There's not that much indoor seating, and my husband doesn't like eating outdoors, so we were prepared to walk in, check out the line situation, and then maybe eat elsewhere. That happened a different Saturday afternoon. But this most recent Saturday afternoon, the line was minimal and I was able to save us a table while he was parking. Four stars rather than five because of the parking situation. Yes, it's midtown and we were prepared to hunt. They have a small parking lot if you're lucky! Also four stars rather than five because they don't serve fries. There's lots of other delicious sides, but not fries. Be warned! The pulled pork sandwich and my pork ribs were delicious. I was so happy with the potato salad, and next time I'm going to get the huge helping of mac n cheese with the shredded cheese on top (!). The range of alcoholic beverages on offer was wide, and the fancy Coke custom machine also means you can make your fountain soda a ton of different ways. Very reasonably priced for great ambiance and food.

This review is based on several takeouts we have been treated to by our friends. We've had Brothers Barbecue for several large gatherings, and a small birthday party takeout. Every time, solid! The meats are tender, flavorful, and although I realize it's a strange thing to say about BBQ, they are not overly greasy. Everyone's very happy with the food, every time. We will visit the place soon for lunch and get some extras to take home!

Whenever we are at Reno for Hot August Nights and my friends say where shall we eat, it's a no brainer. I saw Brothers BBQ. We like to dine early at 5pm so we cruise the strip at 7pm. So all 20 of us ventured to Brothers. It was the perfect place to dine - all 20 of us fit in side room, service was friendly and quick, the food is excellent and they give you a ton of food. And all the plates can be shared between 2 people. My friends couldn't thank me enough for the great bbq and sides. I've been coming here to years and I'm glad to introduce them to this place. They still have the Feast special going for $69. It used to be $50 and fed about 6 of us! Now the plates are going for about $20 along with 2 sides. We opted for chopped brisket with Mac and cheese and cole slaw sides. It was excellent. I'm surprised my hubby and I finished it!! I'm glad we went when we did as they put a sign on the door after we left saying they ran out of food!

This is the real deal. On a hunch, we decided against eating the incredibly expensive, less than extraordinary casino fare and took an Uber to this joint. They did not disappoint. Service was super fast and friendly. Food was spot on. My only regret is that we don't have a microwave in our hotel room to heat leftovers. Bummer! Best meal we've had in Reno so far!
